Meet Robert

A Proven Leader for Sierra College Trustee.

As a working-class professional who relied on part-time education to earn both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, I know firsthand that community colleges are the primary gateway to the middle class. Sierra College must remain a engine of opportunity, preparing students for immediate career success or the rigors of a four-year university while keeping higher education affordable.

Achieving true student success requires prioritizing the human element—investing in our dedicated full- and part-time faculty through fair, competitive compensation for work inside and outside the classroom.

On the Board of Trustees, I will advocate for balanced representation, constructive labor relations, and forward-looking strategies that position Sierra College to lead as higher education evolves in Placer County.
